On Tuesday the 27th of September our TY year group went to see Psycho Spaghetti at the hawk’s well theater in County Sligo. Psycho Spaghetti was written and preformed by comedian Gerrard Carey. Psycho Spaghetti was by far the best stand up comedy i have ever seen, probably because it was written to suit teenage life and especially school life from first year to our present transition year. There was not one person in the hawk’s well theater that did not laugh at Gerrard Carey’s performance. Not only did the students from our own school and the other schools find the performance hilarious but the teachers also found it funny.

The comedian Gerrard Carey acted out may parts of school life in front of the audience. He acted out things like the struggle of getting up in the morning, having to rush your breakfast, and then rushing to school. And when you have arrived in school there’s also a teacher at the front door rushing you into class. Finally when you make it to your class there’s also a teacher rushing you to get out your homework out. He later went on to talk about the different types of people in your class. He spoke about the smart people, the average people and the down right stupid people that were just there to lighten up the class.

Psycho Spaghetti was by far the best stand up comedy i have every seen as i couldn’t believe how much of an understanding  Gerrard Carey had of modern day teenage life. I would recommend this performance to anyway as everybody would have an understanding of it. I would definitely go to see Psycho Spaghetti again as it was such a hilarious performance.
